Can you guys believe that Christmas is a week away? Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I can’t wait till the day arrives! Growing up, my family never had any Christmas tradition so it’ll be neat to start a tradition with the husband this year! Here are some of my favorite images I’ve gathered from pinterest. All of these images make me want to cuddle up next to the fire place with a hot cup of hot chocolate, mMm!

baby kim week 21

It’s crazy to know that I’m already at 21 weeks! Life has been moving quite fast with this baby on the way. David and I have been squeezing in lots of date nights here and there and we’ve enjoying the moments before our sweet baby enters the world.  As of week 21, baby Kim is the size of a carrot Baby Kim loves to move, especially during the nights (keeps me up all night, but I don’t mind at all).  Pregnancy has been challenging but seeing the growth of this baby bump & feeling the movement of the baby is definitely worth every moment!

Hi friends! It's been a while since I've blogged over here. If you are following me on instagram, you might've heard the big news- my husband and I are expecting our first baby next April! As of last week (18 weeks pregnant), we found out our baby’s gender and I can’t wait to share our big news with you guys! Another highlight from last week was feeling the baby move! I’m slowly starting to feel like myself again and am ready to start blogging about my experience as a first time momma! Thanks for sticking around & supporting my blog! xoxo

lately loving- apartment inspirations

If you know me, I'm a sucker for natural lighting & neutral colors. I wanted to implement a simple & modern look for the new place & one of the hardest things that I've faced during this process was not go overboard with a budget on hand and being content. Our apartment is still in progress so once it's finished I will update you guys on how we ended up decorating our home but for now enjoy a few of my favorite pins!

diy worktable

For the past couple of weeks, I have been on the hunt for the perfect worktable. I really wanted a simple desk where I could do my schoolwork and make jewelry. From pinning endless amount of pins, I finally found the perfect combination and loved the way my desk turned out! Here's a picture of the final product, what do you guys think? 

Here’s more information on the supplies I used and what I did.

I bought the table legs from Ikea and plywood from Lowes. I spray painted two coats of Copper Krylon on the table legs and painted two coats of Valspar White on the plywood (make sure you reapply second coat after it’s completely dry). After letting it sit for an hour, I sprayed 2 coats of Krylon Matte Finish to give it a matte look. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below! Happy Wednesday!

Mini-moon to Ace Hotel

Hi friends! It's been a while since I've updated this blog -- so sorry! These past couple of months have been super crazy but exciting at the same time. I'm finally married & had the most amazing wedding in the world -- can't wait to share all the details with you guys in the next couple of posts! With the wedding craziness, David and I had no time to plan our minimoon so his amazing cousins blessed us with a trip to Ace Hotel! Everything about this place was absolutely perfect -- each detail was thoughtfully placed (you'll see in the pictures). Here's some pictures from our trip, hope you guys enjoy!

lately loving: hammock love

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! I apologize for being so MIA on the blog! I am finally done with my finals so I'll be posting more often (yay for summer). This weekend, David and I signed the lease to our first apartment! We are so thrilled to start our life together in our little home! Cheers to new beginnings!   Lately, I've been pinning a lot of home inspirations and I've come across some really great indoor hammocks! I've always loved the idea of having a hammock inside a home. Don't you love how cozy everything looks with a hammock?

Hi friends! Can you believe that it's already May? I'm officially going to be a married gal in about a month- still cannot believe it! April was filled with lots of festivities!
